Service Description

We are excited to announce the launch of our Drag Queen Story Hour initiative. In response to the growing surge of anti‑LGBTQ+ legislation targeting queer youth, this program was created to proactively support schools and community organizations in cultivating safe, affirming, and inclusive spaces for young people. At its core, this initiative is grounded in the belief that all youth deserve access to curriculum and programming that is inclusive, affirming, and empowering. To help make this possible, Drag Queen Story Hour is offered free of charge during select months throughout the year, prioritizing accessibility for schools and organizations with limited resources. This interactive experience introduces high‑school‑aged students to gender diversity in an engaging, age‑appropriate, and joyful way. Through storytelling and performance, students are invited to expand their understanding of identity, self‑expression, and community. Princex Aimis will appear at your event in drag and read a chapter from their poetry book, Princex in Distress. As a special addition during LGBTQ+ History Month, Princex will embody a different queer historical figure for each presentation, weaving history, art, and education into a memorable learning experience. We encourage schools and organizations not to miss this opportunity to meaningfully support queer youth in their communities. To be considered for this presentation, organizations must submit a formal request through this website. Selected organizations will receive a confirmation email along with a detailed outline of the activity and lesson plan prior to the event.
