Drag Queen Story Hour

Service Description

I am pleased to inform you about the launch of our new Drag Queen Story Hour initiative. As you are aware, there has been a recent surge in Anti-LGBTQ bills aimed at Queer youth, and our program has been developed in direct response to this issue. Our primary objective is to assist local schools in creating and maintaining safe spaces for this already marginalized population. We strongly believe that all youth deserve access to an inclusive, affirming, and empowering curriculum. In order to achieve this goal, we are offering our program completely FREE of charge for certain months out of the year. This activity presents the opportunity for high school aged students to be exposed to gender diversity in a fun way. Princex Aimis will appear at your event - in Drag - and read a chapter from their new poetry book Princex in Distress. An awesome bonus for LGBTQ History Month, Princex Aimis will be embodying a Queer historical figure each for this presentation. We strongly encourage you not to miss out on this wonderful opportunity to support the Queer youth in your community. In order for an organization to be eligible for this presentation, they must submit a formal request through this site. If your organization is selected, you will receive a confirmation with a detailed outline of the activity/lesson plan.
